When the World is Shaking, What’s Your Foundation?
Do the foundations of your life pass the 'trust test'? This talk we will consider how God satisfies the four elements of trust.
Galatians | 5:13-26
Christian freedom is not a licence to act however we want, but a new calling to humble, loving service.
Galatians | 5:1-12
Christ-plus-anything means Christ is nothing because it’s an all or nothing situation.
The Maker’s Instructions
There are some divine instructions for us, for our lives and yet many of us choose to ignore them.
Galatians | 4:8-31
The radical change in identity is essential for Christians and a key motivation for living the new life.
Galatians | 3:23-4:7
Paul continues his argument that the law was temporary and now we must live by faith.
Galatians | 3:15-22
Faith in God’s promise, now fulfilled in Jesus, is what counts and counts equally for everyone.
Galatians | 3:1-14
We are made right with God by faith and trusting Him, not by being lawful like the Galatians believed.
Galatians | 2:11-21
Paul details his confrontation with Peter who was not acting in line with the truth of the gospel.
Galatians | 2:1-10
The strength of his words in Galatians reflects how high the stakes were.
Galatians | 1:11-24
Neither Paul’s mission nor his message was derived from man; both came to him direct from God and Jesus Christ.
Galatians | 1:1-10
Paul warns the Galatians that turning to a ‘different’ gospel is deserting God himself.
Easter Sunday: A Way Back Home
Jesus’ death and resurrection makes a way for everyone of us to be welcomed come home.
Church On Mission | Against all the Odds
God’s mission will advance against all the odds and we should not wait for what might appear be more favourable circumstances. Expansion and opposition go hand in hand.
Church On Mission | Sent
We have been sent to represent Jesus faithfully and obediently and spread the message of salvation.
Church On Mission | A Light for the Nations
The church continues the mission of Jesus - to bring light to all people, everywhere.
Church On Mission | A Gracious and Compassionate God
God’s mission is driven by His compassion and grace, therefore, we too need to be filled with these qualities as we follow His example and help others to know Him.
Church On Mission | Blessing to the Nations
As Abraham’s descendents were called to be a blessing to all nations, so now, we the church, are called to be a blessing.
Church On Mission | Share
As we increasingly share life with people we look for opportunities, 1 Peter 3:15, to “give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
