Gift Weeks 2024
We hold Gift Weeks each year where we ask for gifts to support designated projects that help us to see more lives transformed by Jesus! You can make an immediate donation or pledge an amount to be redeemed at a later date.
This year’s Gift Week funds will be going towards:

Global mission
Commission Festival
Crisis Fund

You can give quickly and easily through our online form. Make a one-off payment or set up a regular standing order.

You can give before, during or after our Sunday meetings.
We have contactless points available at the back of the hall.
You can also give cash or cheque using the Citygate envelopes provided. Please Gift Aid if you can.

If you are a member of Citygate you can manage your giving through ChurchSuite.
Navigate to the MyGiving tab once you have logged in. From here you can set up a pledge or a standing order, opt into Gift Aid, and see how much you have given in the past.

You can also set pledges through your ChurchSuite MyGiving tab.
These could be pledges towards your general giving or towards one of our Gift Weeks where we ask for one-off offerings for designated purposes.
If you’re a UK tax payer at the basic rate or higher we can claim Gift Aid on your behalf. This is an extra 25p from HMRC for every £1 you give. There is no lower limit on the amount you can give, but the gift needs to be traced back to the giver.
Why should I give?
Regular giving is one of the ways that we express our love and trust in Jesus. He gave His very life and it cost Him everything. Our giving is an act of faith and obedience to Him. What we do with our possessions is a sure indicator of what's in our hearts.
By committing to give to Citygate you will be investing in all of our ministries, in order to reach those who don’t know Jesus yet, and to make disciples. This includes our children, youth and student work, pastoral care, staff salaries and feeding the homeless - all of these works and more require regular church giving in order to grow.

Serving
God has given everything in His son Jesus and he has also given us gifts as His children. One of the ways that we honour and worship Him is to use these gifts in service to others.

Jesus mandate was to help the poor, heal the sick and set the oppressed free. We want to continue Jesus' mission, giving hope to all, no matter their circumstance!
