Treasure
What’s Treasure?
Treasure is a support group for women coming out of abusive, controlling relationships. Or if you recognise you maybe in a cycle of abuse and making unhealthy relationship choices - this can stem from childhood. Treasure support women in regaining confidence and learning their boundaries and rights. Treasure is a safe confidential place to talk and share about how you feel.
Who’s it for?
Women who have experienced abuse in their life and find it still affects them now. This could be that they are lacking confidence, still facing unhealthy relationships, unsure of boundaries or struggle to be assertive.
When and where do Treasure meet?
Treasure meet at Citygate Bournemouth:
Wednesday 11.00am-12:30pm
Wednesday 7.00pm-8.30pm
Citygate Bournemouth,
Citygate Centre,
138a Holdenhurst Road,
Bournemouth,
BH8 8AS
How can I sign up and come along?
Many women come to treasure after doing pattern changing and Freedom courses through local refuges.
Volunteers from Treasure attend these courses to meet women so they know there is more support out there. A sign-up sheet is handed out so you can be contacted to come along to Treasure.
Kez leads the group at Citygate, and she is happy for anybody who is concerned about their relationship being unhealthy or abusive to email or phone her:.
