What’s A21?

A21 is a global non-profit organisation that is determined to eradicate human trafficking in the 21st century.

What do they provide?

There are 3 programmes - Reach, Rescue & Restore.

The Reach strategy focuses on educating and equipping the general public to understand, identify, and reduce the risk of human trafficking through education curriculum, prevention materials, and awareness campaigns.

One of the campaigns is Walk for Freedom and we will be holding our 5th Bournemouth Walk for Freedom in 2023!

Rescue

Partnering with authorities to secure the freedom of victims and the convictions of human traffickers through programmes like hotlines, child advocacy centres, identification training and legal support.

Restore

Empowering survivors of human trafficking on their unique journey toward restoration and independence through programs like holistic after care, safe accommodation and relocation services.

Where can I find more information?

When and where do they meet?

Walk for Freedom takes place on Saturday 14 October 2023 across the globe - join us in Bournemouth!

There will be a couple of events leading up to the WFF to raise awareness of human trafficking and exploitation.

Can I volunteer to help?

Registration is open for this year's Walk for Freedom.

I hope you’ll be able to join us. It will start from LoveChurch at 2pm and we will walk into town stopping outside the Obscura.

If you would like to volunteer to help raise awareness before or on the day  - Contact Rosa Trout on Instagram or Facebook.
