This Leaders’ Day is designed to inspire and equip people who are involved in leading in any way at Citygate with the practical tools needed to lead multicultural teams effectively.

As part of Citygate’s 2025 vision to deepen community and integration, this event will encourage participants to move beyond surface-level diversity and step into true multicultural leadership. We are called to be more than just a multi-coloured church—we are called to be a unified, multicultural family that truly reflects the Kingdom of God.

Through keynote addresses, workshops, and interactive seminars, participants will gain actionable insights into navigating cultural differences, breaking down barriers, and fostering unity in leadership. There will be time for worship, prayer and the prophetic ministry.

Our main speaker for the event will be Owen Hylton.

Owen Hylton is the Pastor of Beacon Church in Brixton, London, and the author of 'Crossing the divide - a call to embrace diversity’. With a deep commitment to fostering unity and reconciliation, Owen is also the leader of The Reconciled Church, a network of church leaders and individuals in positions of leadership. Their core mission is to see and help churches come together across various divisions, by developing a robust theology of reconciliation around the cross, centred on Christ as the focal point of unity. Owen is married to Pauline, and they have three adult daughters.
