'Leading Like Jesus'

"Imitate me, as I imitate Christ", were the apostle Paul’s bold words to the church in Corinth. To be like Jesus is not simply aspirational for us as Christians but it is our sure and certain destiny, it is a work he has begun, and which he will complete. During the Commission Leadership Conference 2024 we plan to examine and learn from the characteristics of Jesus’ ministry, in particular his example of serving and shepherding his people. We aspire to increasingly become a family of churches whose men and women act, sound and lead like Jesus, who was humble but courageous, gentle but bold, kind but confrontational, who came to serve, not to be served.

Over the course of three days we will gather in Bournemouth to enjoy great worship, to hear excellent Bible teaching, and to participate in seminars covering a range of topics relevant to anyone in leadership.

Who’s it for?
This event is for anyone in our Commission churches, or who may be looking in, who holds a leadership position of any kind, inside or outside the church; elders, small group leaders, kids leaders, youth leaders, trustees, serving team leaders, social action ministry leaders - if you lead anything at all then you’re invited!

Wednesday 28th - 10:00-21:00 (inc. 2.5hrs for free time/dinner)
