Your KINGDOM MOMENTS from 2024…

This year, we set out with a vision to create thousands of Kingdom Moments—instances where God’s love shines through us to impact the lives of those around us. We invited you to share these moments with us, and below, we’ve highlighted just a few of your stories.

It has been truly inspiring to see so many of you embrace this vision, engaging through Life Groups and personal efforts. At the heart of this mission is a simple yet powerful approach: Prayer, Care, and Share.

Prayer

Praying for our friends and loved ones who may be going through difficult times, and seeking opportunities to bring hope and healing.

“A client mentioned her father-in-law was about to undergo cancer tests. I offered to say a quick prayer for him, and she was grateful. The results came back negative.”

“I regularly meet up with another mom and her baby. Recently, she opened up about struggling with some personal challenges. I asked if I could pray for her, and she was really touched.”

“I prayed for a man who was nervous about speaking in front of a large crowd. I offered a prayer for confidence, and afterward, he felt much more at ease.”

“While on holiday in the Caribbean, I prayed for an opportunity to share hope. That day, we met a grocery store owner in severe pain. After we prayed for her, her pain significantly reduced.”

Care

Reaching out with kindness, especially to those who are hurting or facing challenges, and offering compassion and support in their time of need.

“I had the chance to help an international couple at a coffee shop. They struggled with the coins to pay for their order, and I offered to assist. After we sorted it out, we realised the café didn’t accept cash, and their card payment didn’t work. Without hesitation, I paid for their order.”

“My manager had an accident at work, so I quickly ran out to buy some cream to help with the pain.”

“I made a chicken curry and had some leftover. I decided to take it over to a neighbour who lives alone. He was really grateful and messaged afterward to thank me.”

“While at the supermarket, I noticed a young man who had lost his wallet and couldn’t pay for his groceries. I offered to help by purchasing the items for him.”

Share

Sharing our own stories of personal growth and transformation, showing how Jesus has changed our lives.

“I invited a friend from school to church with her daughter. She hadn’t been to church in years but had been wanting to return. She loved the experience, and we went for lunch afterward.”

“During a routine health check, the nurse asked about my family history of illness. I shared how my parents and brother had passed away, and she asked how I had coped. I explained how my faith had given me strength during those times.”

“A person I met at the gym recognized me from school. As we reminisced about our youth, I shared how much my life had changed through my faith.”

“I always carry a copy of my personal story in different languages. One day, I felt compelled to share it with a Polish colleague, and when she returned it, she mentioned it had made her reflect deeply on her own life.”

“During a lunch break at Tesco, I ran into an old family friend who was amazed at how much I had changed. I shared how my life transformation was all because of my faith.”

While 2024 has been an incredible year, our hope and prayer is that these Kingdom Moments continue as a daily part of all our lives. As we continue reaching out across the bay, may these thousands of moments blossom into thousands of lives transformed, saved, and welcomed into God’s family in the years ahead.
