Citygate Bournemouth meets every Sunday:

We don't know what your experience of church has been previously, if any at all, but we do know that it can be quite daunting trying something new for the first time.

We make our Sunday meetings as friendly and accessible as possible, and if you need help with anything at all you can ask one of our Welcome Team wearing blue jumpers.

We also broadcast our Bournemouth Sunday meetings online.

FAQs

  • We meet at Citygate Bournemouth, opposite Bournemouth travel exchange and Citygate Southbourne on Admiralty Road. There will also be another site in Poole in the future. You can also watch our Sunday meetings on our Facebook page or YouTube channel.

  • We meet each Sunday at the following times:

    9.00am and 11.00am - Citygate Bournemouth

    10:30 am - Citygate Southbourne

    If you’re attending onsite, we recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before the meeting starts so you can park and find a seat.

  • You are welcome at Citygate just as you are. You'll see people in shirt and tie, in jeans and t-shirt, and everywhere in between!

  • If you’re attending onsite, feel free to arrive early to meet people from the church before the meeting. Our Welcome Team will be at the door. They would love to know if it's your first time at Citygate!

  • You can sit wherever you feel comfortable. If you have difficulty locating a seat or need assistance, our Welcome Team is there to help you.

  • Our meetings last approximately an hour and a half.

  • We'd like your whole family to enjoy their time at Citygate, and we have a range of children's and youth activities that take place during our meetings. Our Kids Team wear yellow t-shirts and would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

  • During the week we run Life Groups. These are small bible study groups that meet up in a more relaxed setting.

  • You don’t have to a Christian to come. All are welcome whether you have a faith or other religious background feel free to come along!

  • Our church site in Bournemouth holds around 400 people each Sunday and we have up to 150 people at our Southbourne site.

  • We are an Evangelical Church which is part of Commission- a global family of churches which share the same mission.

  • We have a contemporary worship style singing both modern songs and timeless hymes.
